Education in the Community

The Wichita Symphony Orchestra is dedicated to the education and outreach of youth in the local community. Our programs allow children and young adults to be introduced to live symphonic music, participate in youth orchestra programs and compete for scholarships and prize money.

Learn More Young People's Concerts Every fall and winter, we perform Young People’s Concerts to introduce elementary and middle school students to live symphonic music.
Learn More Naftzger Auditions & Awards Each year, we name one person as the Naftzger Young Artist and award three other division prizes.
